Bookings should be made as far as possible in advance. Hotels require a deposit within 30 days. Allow a minimum of an extra 7 days for transfer of funds unless booking through credit card.

Christmas and New Year Supplement $25 per person: 16 December to 7 January. There is a 15% discount on most hotel rates during the low season of 1 April to 15 June.

Price is per person sharing on a full board basis. Single room supplement $35. Children under 12 half price.

MANYARA and NATRON. Park fee per entry into Lake Manyara National Park $25. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is located in Manyara National Park. All other lodges are outside the park.

El Eunoto Lodge              $170. At base of escarpment near small hippo pool. Swimming pool.
Lake Manyara Hotel         $125. Stunning view of Manyara Park and Lake.
Kirurumu Tented Camp     $115. Excellent view of Lake Manyara.
Migunga Forest Camp      $ 55. In acacia forest close to Manyara N. Park.
Serena Manyara Lodge     $125. On escarpment overlooking Manyara N. Park. Swimming pool.
Lake Manyara Tree Lodge $450. At south end of Manyara Park. ConsCorp property.

Lake Natron Camp $ 75. Ideal base for Oldoinyo L'Engai climb. Good hiking area. Stunning scenery.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK. Tarangire Daily Park Entry Fees of $30. Tarangire Safari Lodge, Sopa Tarangire and Oliver's are in the park itself. Others are close by but have walking and night game drives.

QUALITY CAMPS AND LODGES:

Tamarind Camp $ 70. Outside park. Walking and night game drives.
Tarangire Safari Lodge $ 95. Old-established camp. One of the best views in Tarangire. Recommended.
Tarangire Sopa $110. In centre of park.
Tarangire River Camp $110. Outside park. Walking and night game drives.

UP-MARKET CAMPS:

Boundary Camp $200. Outside park. Walking and night game drives.
Naitolia Camp    $145. Outside park. Walking and night game drives.
